This page sets out the regulatory registrations and industry memberships of the REAL group of companies.

 

Credit Provider Registration

 

The following group companies are registered with the National Credit Regulator as credit providers in terms of the National Credit Act:

 

REAL Estate Affordable Loans (Pty) Ltd, NCRCP6371

REAL Estate Affordable Loans – SAL (Pty) Ltd, NCRCP6986

 

Each entity acts as a credit provider only in respect of the credit agreements to which it is a party.

 

Loan Administration and Financial Services

 

Loan administration and servicing functions are performed by:

 

Administrator of REAL Transactions (Pty) Ltd, NCRCP6994

Financial Services Provider, FSP No. 52192

 

Administrator of REAL Transactions (Pty) Ltd is appointed as loan administrator and is responsible for day-to-day loan servicing, customer communication, payment processing, account administration, and related support functions.

 

Where applicable, Administrator of REAL Transactions (Pty) Ltd also renders financial services in accordance with its Financial Services Provider licence. It does not advance credit unless expressly stated in the applicable credit agreement.

 

Code to Combat Over-indebtedness

 

The group subscribes to the Code to Combat Over-indebtedness and applies its principles when assessing affordability and granting credit.

 

Industry Memberships

 

The group is a member of the South African Credit & Risk Reporting Association and complies with applicable credit reporting and data submission standards.
